Stuffed Bread Kofta Curry

I am sharing Stuffed bread kofta curry with everyone which is yummy for roti’s.Just a slight change with the delicious filling.Actually I was having a left over bread in my kitchen and I thought why can't I try a curry with it then immediately I got this idea and implemented it. You will definitely like it.The kofta filling is not that difficult which I have already posted in my blog. I have showed here the quick method of stuffing process.

Prep time: 30 mins | Cook time:20 mins |Serves:3 persons
Ingredients
For curry
For Filling
Grind to paste

Check out the recipe “Soya kheema curry” for clear details for the stuffing.
Method
1. Outer layer
Boil the potatoes, peel and mash .Soak the bread slices one by one in water. Take out and squeeze the water from the slices and mix with the mashed potatoes, chilli powder and salt.

2. For the stuffing
Heat oil in a kadai, add onions and sauté till light brown. Add ginger garlic paste and then followed by green peas. Sauté for few minutes till it gets cooked well. Now add the grated soya chunks with the masala powders. Check for salt. Keep aside.

3. Preparation of koftas
Prepare small balls from the dough of bread and potatoes, flatten on the palm. Stuff the filling in the middle and close all around. Deep fry these koftas in hot oil, till golden brown and keep aside.

4. For making curry
1. Heat oil in a kadai, add onions and fry till golden brown. Add ground masala and fry till it separates from the oil.

2. Add one tbsp. of curd, salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Sauté till oil is separated. Add another tbsp. of curd and continue to fry till oil is separated.

3. Mix tomatoes and fry. Pour one cup of water and boil till the gravy becomes thick. Add the koftas just before serving.Garnih with coriander leaves (cilantro).

4. Serve hot with rotis or with rice.

5. Here I have showed clearly the stuffed Soya kheema dry curry..
Notes
To the same curry recipe instead of bread kofta balls u can also add paneer pieces which can be grated also.
Add one cup of coconut milk, do not boil. (Optional)
